Senior copper processing role leading SX/EW operations, optimization and team performance on a 12/9 roster

You will join a tier-1 mining client operating a copper processing facility with a strong focus on SX/EW performance. This senior leadership role will see you driving operational excellence, recovery optimisation and safe, reliable production outcomes across the processing circuit.

You will be accountable for leading multidisciplinary processing teams across metallurgical and production functions. Working on a 12/9 roster, you will balance operational delivery with continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder engagement across site leadership.

This is a key leadership position where your expertise in copper processing and hydrometallurgical systems will directly influence plant performance, team capability, and overall site productivity. Location: North West QLD.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead safe and efficient SX/EW processing operations
- Optimise plant performance, recovery rates and throughput
- Drive metallurgical accountability and reporting outcomes
- Lead and develop processing and production teams
- Deliver continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives
- Engage with site leadership and key operational stakeholders

About you
- Proven background in copper processing, ideally SX/EW environments
- Strong leadership capability in superintendent or manager roles
- Experience in hydrometallurgical or related processing operations
- Ability to drive performance, optimisation and operational stability
- Collaborative communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
