Short-term Lab & Process Operators role on 8/6 roster supporting sampling, testing & filtration in remote mining ops BIBO Townsville

  • BIBO from Townsville, 3-month contract, 8/6 roster
  • Lab sampling/testing & process filtration exposure
  • Loading ticket preferred; extension potential
You will join a tier-1 mining and resources operation supporting safe and efficient production at a remote processing facility. This is a 3-month BIBO (Bus In Bus Out) contract from Townsville on an 8/6 roster.

In this role, you will work across both laboratory and process operations, contributing to plant performance through sampling, testing, filtration monitoring, and routine quality control activities. You will operate in a structured shift environment where safety, compliance, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to apply or develop skills across both laboratory and processing environments within a fast-paced operational setting, with potential for contract extension depending on site requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct laboratory testing, sampling, and analysis of plant materials
• Operate and monitor plant and filtration systems
• Perform routine inspections, process checks, and quality control
• Support safe production through accurate reporting and data entry
• Respond to operational issues and escalate faults or deviations
• Assist with documentation, compliance reporting, and shift logs

About you
• Proven experience in process operations, laboratory, or technical roles
• Experience with filtration systems and/or sampling desirable
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational standards
• Ability to follow procedures in a structured shift environment
• Effective communicator and strong team player
• Willingness to work in a remote operational setting
