We are partnering with a well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to appoint an experienced Associate Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge design. Based in Brisbane, you will play a key role in delivering transport infrastructure projects across Queensland while supporting business growth and strengthening client relationships.

You will lead the design and delivery of bridge and structural engineering projects, providing high-quality technical outcomes, project coordination and commercial oversight. This role will suit someone who can step into an established team, build trust quickly and contribute from day one.

You will also mentor developing engineers, collaborate across disciplines and help grow a positive, high-performing team culture. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative office environment where personality fit, leadership style and relationship-building are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead bridge design and structural engineering projects from concept to delivery
- Deliver designs aligned to TMR standards and Australian codes
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines and quality outcomes
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Support tenders, proposals and business development initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability growth

About you
- Proven experience in bridge design within an engineering consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of TMR standards and Queensland transport projects
- RPEQ certification is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong capability managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Collaborative communicator who builds lasting relationships
- Established local Brisbane / Queensland network highly regarded
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights required
