Lead multidisciplinary construction delivery for a Pilbara mine restart project on a 2:1 FIFO roster.

We are partnering with a WA-based mining consultancy to recruit a Civil, Structural & Mechanical Superintendent to support the construction of a new process plant at an existing mining operation in the Pilbara. Commencing in September, this six-month contract will provide you with the opportunity to play a key leadership role as the operation transitions from care and maintenance back into production.

Acting as the client representative on site, you will oversee civil, structural, mechanical and piping construction activities while working closely with the electrical and instrumentation contractor to ensure safe, efficient and coordinated delivery. You will provide visible leadership across site activities, manage contractor performance and build strong relationships with project stakeholders within a collaborative project environment.

You will also fulfil the statutory duties of the WA Site Senior Executive (SSE) during construction, leading a workforce of approximately 20 personnel. This role operates on 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster, with ensuite camp-style accommodation provided at a nearby roadhouse.

Key Responsibilities
• Represent the client throughout construction activities
• Lead civil, structural, mechanical and piping construction delivery
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical and instrumentation contractors
• Fulfil WA Site Senior Executive (SSE) statutory responsibilities
• Drive contractor safety, quality and construction performance
• Monitor project progress and support successful delivery outcomes
• Maintain effective relationships with contractors and stakeholders

About you
• Proven background delivering mining or process plant construction projects
• Strong capability across civil, structural, mechanical and piping disciplines
• Current WA Site Senior Executive (SSE) qualification and capability to perform statutory duties
• Experience managing contractors in a client-side or owner’s team environment
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
