Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a Brisbane Construction company looking for a Contract Administrator. Join this innovative and reputable construction company and bring your experience to help play a vital role in the delivery of the wall raise.
The Role
As the Contract Administrator you will be responsible for arranging contracts with suppliers, customers or other external parties. Sourcing, reviewing and revising documentation according to the needs of business operations. Drafting or revising legal agreements per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain thorough project documentation from inception to completion, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
- Update and manage project tracking databases to reflect real-time status and key milestones.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, including compiling documentation and coordinating submission timelines
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to clarify project requirements and obtain quotes
- Support the management of subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement coordination and compliance with OH&S and QA standards
- Identify and report commercial risks and opportunities within project contracts
- Administer subcontractor notices including EOTs, delay claims, and variations; assist with drafting RFIs to consultants
- Analyse construction drawings and specifications to detect discrepancies and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Evaluate cost implications of design changes and project variations
- Draft, issue, and administer subcontractor and supplier agreements in line with project budgets and scopes of work
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or similar
- Minimum 3-4 years experience as a Contract Administrator
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent ability to communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders
