Controls System Project Lead
Lead control systems projects across study and execution phases in a flexible hybrid role.
- Monday to Friday role with flexible WFH arrangement
- Lead control system upgrades and sustaining capital projects
- Work across Honeywell & Rockwell platforms
You will be responsible for maintaining project momentum across key upgrade initiatives, ensuring schedules, budgets, and technical outcomes are achieved. This is a Monday to Friday position operating in a hybrid model, with a mix of working from home and occasional site travel as required.
You will engage with internal stakeholders and external engineering providers, overseeing design, delivery, and implementation activities while ensuring alignment with project frameworks and technical standards.
This role is Monday to Friday on a 12 month rolling contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects across study, design, and execution phases
• Develop scopes of work and review contractor deliverables
• Monitor project costs, schedules, and forecasting activities
• Coordinate stakeholders across technical and delivery teams
• Support commissioning, testing, and system upgrades
• Manage scope changes and contribute to business case development
About you
• Electrical Engineering qualification or similar
• Strong background in control systems and automation engineering
• Experience with Honeywell and/or Rockwell control systems
• Proven capability across commissioning and system upgrades
• Strong written skills for reports, scopes, and technical documentation
• Clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
