Deliver field engineering and construction support across major mining, processing and renewable infrastructure projects.

As a Field Engineer, you will provide hands-on engineering and construction support across a major mining and processing environment. You will work closely with project leadership, construction teams and contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with approved schedules and quality requirements.

You will support a broad range of infrastructure and plant works, including civil, mechanical, piping and electrical & instrumentation activities. You will also contribute to a significant solar-plant development spanning approximately 100 hectares and incorporating around 70,000 solar panels, providing an opportunity to work across both traditional mining infrastructure and renewable energy.

Working in a site-based environment, you will identify construction challenges, coordinate field activities, verify completed works and provide practical engineering solutions that keep project delivery moving.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day field engineering and construction support
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities
- Inspect civil, mechanical, piping and E&I works
- Verify construction against drawings, specifications and approved designs
- Identify site issues and provide practical engineering solutions
- Support constructability reviews and identify site constraints
- Monitor contractor progress, quality and compliance
- Maintain accurate field records and construction documentation
- Support QA/QC activities and ensure defects are rectified
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents and contractors
- Support process-plant completion and expansion activities
- Assist with crushers, ROM infrastructure, milling and plant works
- Support civil works, earthworks, drainage and surface-water management
- Contribute to solar-plant engineering, QA and construction activities

About you
- Engineering qualification with relevant field or construction experience
- Strong capability across multidisciplinary construction environments
- Experience with mining, processing or major infrastructure projects
- Sound understanding of QA/QC and construction control
- Proven ability to coordinate contractors and construction teams
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Practical approach to problem solving and constructability
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Strong focus on safety, quality and project delivery
