Field Technician – Exploration DrillingShort Description

• End-August start with contract through to December
• FIFO to Cairns, then DIDO to a remote exploration site
• 15:6 roster, day shift only, with camp accommodation

You will join a large-scale exploration drilling program supporting a tungsten project in North Queensland. Working as part of an established field team, you will contribute to RC and diamond drilling activities across a remote exploration site approximately 130km northwest of Cairns.

This contract opportunity is due to commence at the end of August and will run through to December. You will work day shifts on a 15:6 roster, flying into Cairns before travelling to site by road. Camp accommodation is provided, with shared facilities and Wi-Fi access.

You will play an important role in supporting exploration outcomes, maintaining accurate field data and records, and ensuring drilling activities are completed safely and efficiently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support RC and diamond drilling programs onsite
- Complete logging, sampling and field data collection activities
- Maintain accurate field records and reporting
- Follow site safety, environmental and operational procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider exploration team

About you
- Proven experience in exploration geology or field technician roles
- Strong capability across RC and/or diamond drilling programs
- Comfortable working in remote and camp-based environments
- Current manual driver's licence and ability to pass medical and D&A
- First aid certification is desirable
