Full job description:
You will join a well-established mining operation in central west NSW, supporting exploration activities as a Core Logging Geologist. This short-term contract opportunity will see you play a key role in reducing a backlog of core samples, contributing to ongoing project success.

Working on a FIFO basis from Brisbane, you will operate on a 14/7 roster with 12-hour shifts. Charter flights are provided on Mondays and Thursdays, ensuring a structured and efficient travel schedule. This is an immediate start role, suited to someone ready to step in and make an impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological core logging
• Accurately record and manage geological data
• Collaborate with site teams to meet project targets
• Maintain safety and compliance standards onsite

• Proven experience in core logging within mining or exploration
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a FIFO environment
