We are partnering with a well-established contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of remediation, refurbishment, restoration, and structural repair projects across Queensland. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an Estimator to join their Brisbane team. This could be for the right person a desktop estimator so you can work from home.
This role will see you involved in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for a range of commercial, infrastructure, and specialist construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives
- Assist with tender strategy and bid preparation
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support successful project handover to delivery teams
- Previous experience in an Estimator role within construction
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and scope documents
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
