Lead a team of technicians in the operation and maintenance of a large-scale solar farm!

Concentis are partnering with a leading renewable energy owner and operator to source an experienced Lead Technician to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of a large-scale solar farm.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll provide technical leadership to site technicians while remaining hands-on in maintenance, fault finding and high-voltage operations. This is a senior site-based role responsible for driving safety, reliability and operational excellence across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and support a team of site technicians, fostering a strong safety-first culture
  • Plan and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise plant performance
  • Perform and oversee high-voltage switching, fault finding and repairs across site assets
  • Supervise contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Manage maintenance work orders, reporting and asset information within the site's CMMS
  • Monitor site tools, spare parts and operational documentation to support reliable maintenance
  • Support compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements while working closely with engineering and operational support teams
About You
  • Current Queensland A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Proven leadership experience within industrial, utilities, power generation or renewable energy environments
  • Strong experience with HV switching, electrical maintenance and fault finding
  • Knowledge of CMMS platforms such as Maximo or similar maintenance systems
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and develop others
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
