Maintenance Manager

• Lead onsite heavy vehicle maintenance across mining operations
• Plan, schedule and deliver maintenance for fleet reliability & uptime
• Ensure safety compliance and drive continuous improvement with teams

You will be joining a tier-1 mining operation where you will oversee the performance, reliability, and safety of a heavy mobile equipment fleet. This role is critical in ensuring maximum fleet availability and supporting production targets through effective maintenance leadership, planning, and execution.

Operating on a FIFO 12/9 roster ex Cairns, Townsville, and Brisbane, you will be part of a high-performing mining environment with strong collaboration across operations, engineering, and contractor partners. This position offers the opportunity to influence maintenance strategy, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to a safety-focused, production-driven site.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate heavy vehicle maintenance operations onsite
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Drive fleet reliability, availability, and performance improvements
- Manage internal teams and external contractors effectively
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance systems

About you
- Extensive experience in heavy vehicle maintenance within mining environments
- Proven leadership capability across mobile equipment or maintenance teams
- Strong understanding of fleet reliability, maintenance systems, and uptime drivers
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead and support teams in a FIFO operational setting
