We are partnering with a leading industrial services contractor to source an experienced Planner / Scheduler to support construction project delivery across Queensland. Based in Mackay, this role offers flexible arrangements including local, DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating project activities, and supporting efficient resource utilisation to ensure projects are delivered safely and on time. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to manage competing priorities and optimise project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks
• Coordinate activities across project and subcontractor teams
• Provide reporting, forecasting and schedule updates
• Maintain project documentation and scheduling tools
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

About you
• Proven experience in a Planner / Scheduler role
• Background within construction or industrial projects
• Strong capability using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Understanding of project lifecycles and risk management
