Full Job Description
You will join a tier-1 mining client operating multiple copper processing assets across Northwest Queensland, with a strong focus on SX/EW performance. In this senior leadership role, you will drive operational excellence, recovery optimisation, and safe, reliable production outcomes across the processing circuit.

Working on a 12/9 roster, you will lead multidisciplinary teams across metallurgical and production functions, balancing day-to-day operational delivery with continuous improvement and commissioning initiatives. You will work closely with site leadership to ensure processing performance aligns with broader operational and production objectives across multiple assets.
This is a high-impact leadership position where your expertise in copper processing and hydrometallurgical systems will directly influence plant performance, team capability, and overall site productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead safe and efficient SX/EW processing operations
- Optimise plant performance, recovery rates and throughput
- Drive metallurgical accountability and reporting outcomes
- Lead and develop processing and production teams
- Deliver continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives
- Support commissioning and plant improvement activities
- Engage with site leadership and key operational stakeholders

About you
- Proven background in copper processing, ideally SX/EW
- Strong leadership capability at superintendent or manager level
- Experience in hydrometallurgical processing environments
- Exposure to plant commissioning and process optimisation
- Heap leaching and electrowinning experience (preferred)
- Ability to drive performance, stability and continuous improvement
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
