QBCC Site Supervisor

Here at Concentis, we’re proud to be partnering with a reputable, Brisbane-based construction company to source an experienced Supervisor to oversee a team of subcontractors across a variety of ongoing insurance projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be driving safety, quality, and progress across multiple job sites - ensuring everything stays on track, on budget, and to spec.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring safety and compliance with project specifications
• Liaise closely with Project Managers to sequence and prioritise work effectively
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to meet delivery milestones
• Keep schedules and documentation current, including registers for risk, cost, and scope
• Monitor quality assurance processes, sign off on inspections, and ensure compliance standards are met
• Assist in the preparation and review of scopes, tenders, and contracts
• Identify potential risks or delays early and implement proactive solutions
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations

About You:

• Ideally, you hold a Carpentry trade qualification, or come from a strong construction background with sound site methodology knowledge
• Hold or be willing to obtain a QBCC Site Supervisor Licence
• Have prior experience supervising construction teams, preferably in a client- or contractor-facing role
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Strong understanding of WHS regulations, QA processes, and construction programs
• Comfortable using digital tools including the Microsoft Office Suite
• Organised, solutions-focused, and able to communicate clearly across all levels
