Technician – Electrical

Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a company within the energy sector to source motivated and safety-focused Electrical Technicians. You will work under the guidance of the Lead Technician, contributing to the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of the site’s solar infrastructure, and have a real impact on clean energy delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of systems and associated electrical components
• Support safe operational procedures including high voltage switching under supervision
• Work alongside contractors and internal teams to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld
• Participate in after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating roster
• Contribute to the accurate completion of work orders and maintenance documentation
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organised workshop environment
• Help monitor inventory levels for tools, spare parts, and consumables

About You:

• Trade qualification in electrical or equivalent technical training
• Previous experience in renewable energy, power generation, or electrical maintenance is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and a proactive approach to health and safety
• Willingness to work in a team environment and support continuous improvement
• Familiarity with maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, Enablon) is an advantage
• HV Electrical Switching certificate or ability to obtain
• Working knowledge of installation, maintenance and instrumentation systems
