Here at Concentis, we have partnered with a Tier-1 mining organisation to source a Contracts Officer to establish, implement, and administer supply and contractual requirements for various assigned projects across the major project’s portfolio.
This will be a Monday to Friday on-site role based in the regional NSW
. The successful candidate will be open to a DIDO roster from Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra or live locally to the area.
Accountabilities - Responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts on selected projects
- Drafting Recommendations to Award (RTA’s), contract requisitions and proposed contracts document.
- Coordinating and administering Site RFQ’s and contract requirements.
- Securing internal approvals and providing approved documents to be loaded into SAP
- Interpret and explain contract requirements and terms and conditions to stakeholders to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision-making.
- Contribute to developing and implementing contract management plans by sourcing documents and established contracts, monitoring performance, and addressing non-performance to achieve the required contract outcomes.
- Administer routine to complex contracts to ensure pricing accuracy, scope variations, and updates to terms and conditions.
- Drive contract/performance review meetings. This includes taking minutes, following up on key actions, as well as scheduling future meetings and issuing out agendas.
- Raise variations to reflect and formalise key changes to the contract.
- Perform contract close-outs by capturing key learnings and managing the transition of incumbent and new Vendor.
About you - Tertiary Qualification in Business Management or Law is preferred by not required
- Proven experience in business administration, contracts administration or project administration
- Sound understanding of project development and execution practices associated with major capital projects
- Proven experience in managing a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a team environment
