tier-1 asset owner to source a
Project Controls Officer, accountable for cost control, forecasting, and process improvements. If you thrive on attention to detail, analysing data, and excel at process-driven tasks, this role offers the perfect opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This Monday-Friday, Gladstone-based role is an initial 12-month contract, with real potential for extension, and the option for a 9-day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities: - Identify opportunities to streamline and improve project controls processes
- Utilise SAP to analyse and interpret reports, raise purchase requisitions, and process invoices
- Collaborate with project leaders to confirm commitments and validate payments
- Maintain the project change notice register and implement contingency and change management processes
- Assist in maintaining project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals
- Perform Close Out and Capitalisation activities
- Provide document control guidance and governance for engineering-related documents, ensuring compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
About You: - Certificate in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- Proven administrative background – experience in document control desirable
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and SharePoint
