Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a Tier 1 mining client to find a Project Leader to lead initiatives across various study and development phases. Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee and deliver a portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and governance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across various sites to ensure alignment, foster relationships, and navigate complex project requirements.
  • Project Controls and Governance: Maintain schedules, budgets, and controls while adhering to governance standards, particularly those for sustaining capital projects.
  • Program Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and on-site support during site visits, contributing to workshops, and monitoring progress across various projects.
  • Safety Advocacy: Promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence, embedding a strong safety culture in planning activities and preparatory phases.
  • Scope Management: Possess the technical skills to develop and manage project scopes.
About You:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing medium - large projects in the resources industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management fundamentals is beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary project portfolios simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (any discipline) will be advantageous
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning, mentorship, and leadership growth.
