Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a Tier 1 mining client to find a Project Leader to lead initiatives across various study and development phases. With an exciting and diverse portfolio—ranging from innovative civil works to upcoming electrical projects—this role offers the opportunity to shape impactful outcomes within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

This is a 12-month rolling contract role based in Brisbane, offering flexible work arrangements and various travel to sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee and deliver a portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and governance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across various sites to ensure alignment, foster relationships, and navigate complex project requirements.
  • Project Controls and Governance: Maintain schedules, budgets, and controls while adhering to governance standards, particularly those for sustaining capital projects.
  • Program Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and on-site support during site visits, contributing to workshops, and monitoring progress across various projects.
  • Safety Advocacy: Promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence, embedding a strong safety culture in planning activities and preparatory phases.
  • Scope Management: Possess the technical skills to develop and manage project scopes.
About You:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing medium - large projects in the resources industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management fundamentals is beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary project portfolios simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (any discipline) will be advantageous.
  • Proactive approach to seeking feedback for continuous development and growth in the role.
