Concentis we are partnering with a global mining client to source a site-based
Execution Project Lead, responsible for the delivery of the annual marine maintenance packages across multiple sites in line with cost, schedule, risk, environmental, and quality requirements.
In this strategic leadership position, you will be responsible for leading the execution phase in partnership with the construction superintendent and operational client. This role will develop the execution planning associated with the project including estimating, schedule tracking, cost track/forecasting, procurement, technical design assurance and QA assurance.
This is a FIFO role to Far North Queensland, on a 12-month contract. Roster will be either a 10:4 or 9:5 roster, with all travel done in company time
Responsibilities - Coordination of professionals such as engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and resources needed for project execution
- Identify potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle
- Production and KPI tracking
- Contractor engagement & management including marine specialists and engineering providers
- Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations, and promote a safe work environment for crews on site
- Schedule development
- Cost tracking and financial reporting
- Development of capital cost estimate for funding request gates
- Ensure QA verifications are tracked and reported accordingly
About You: - Hold a Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Possess over 10 years of project experience within the marine bridge and structures sector.
- Prior experience with mine marine projects is highly desirable.
- Construction experience in the marine industry or a similar role will be highly regarded.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and professionalism.
- Excel in setting priorities, planning, time management, organisation, and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Keen attention to detail, particularly in plan interpretation and construction design.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address complex issues across all levels of an organisation.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Skilled in identifying and managing risks and opportunities relevant to the project.
