We are exclusively partnering with a Tier-1 Mining Asset Owner to source an experienced
Project Manager to be responsible for the planning and delivery of a package of critical sustaining capital projects.
Reporting to the Project Superintendent, you will provide technical and project management guidance throughout the full lifecycle of
civil-related and remediation works across a complex brownfield mine.
This is a
client-side position, flying to a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2/1
or potential 8/6 roster engagement.Accountabilities: - Supporting multiple projects and project managers concurrently
- Driving and coordinating projects from an engineering, cost, schedule, and quality perspective
- Manage engineering partners through concept and detailed design phase, including document reviews, organising design reviews, responding to technical requests, and liaising with stakeholders
- Support construction teams by providing technical guidance in the field during execution activities
- Engage and foster relationships with internal (projects, operations, maintenance) and external (design consultants, construction contractors) stakeholder groups
About You: - Strong experience in managing projects in a brownfield environment throughout the mining, oil & gas, or Heavy industrial sectors
- Exposure to the full lifecycle of projects related to civil, remediation or bulk earthworks
- Previous Owner-Side or EPCM experience is a MUST
- Proven exposure to government related works with an understanding of TMR and/or DIPL requirement would be seen as beneficial
- Demonstrable ability to manage capital projects concurrently with an understanding of all projects deliverables
- Stakeholder engagement and management of contractors/EPCM’s
- Commercial acumen and the ability to confidently manage the schedule and budgets of projects
