About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and commissioning of automation and control systems for mining operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong experience in PLC, SCADA, and DCS programming, system integration, and on-site troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, program, and commission PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson, Schneider, Citect SCADA).
  • Lead the integration of automation and control systems across mining operations.
  • Work closely with site teams to optimise system performance and reliability.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, fault resolution, and system testing on-site.
  • Provide technical support during risk assessments and compliance reviews.
About You
  • Degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Automation, or Control Systems Engineering.
  • Strong experience in PLC/SCADA programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning within mining or heavy industry.
  • Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and/or Schneider Electric systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
  • Hands-on, site-based experience with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team.
