We are exclusively partnering with a Tier-1 Mining Asset Owner to source a Structural Engineer to join their professional engineering team on a complex brownfield mining operation in the Northern Territory.

You will provide technical engineering expertise across maintenance, operations, and project areas on fixed plant assets to ensure continuous maximum efficiency.
  
This client-side position, flying to a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2/1 roster engagement with some flexibility provided

Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the active management of the Structural Integrity Program of the bauxite handling assets
  • Maintain an effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams, seeking to understand stakeholders
  • Provide structural engineering guidance and technical support to site Operations, Maintenance and Shutdown
  • Provide specialist engineering expertise and ensure robust change control processes and documentation standards
  • Provide engineering technical services to the Projects to ensure they meet relevant standards and are aligned to designed/agreed principle
  • Provide technical scope development and oversight for structural modifications and maintenance works
  • Support business case generation for structural projects
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil or structural Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience as a Structural Engineer, with a background in mining, marine or heavy industrial maintenance environment
  • Previous exposure to on-site remote operations 
  • Proven ability to manage the structural integrity program of fixed plant assets
  • Strong stakeholder management engagement i.e. EPCM, contractors and service providers.
